Tencel Scarf Kits

I’ve had many people ask me to dye warps for them, so the idea of making scarf kits was born.

The kits have a dyed warp of 160 threads of 10/2 tencel.  The warp is 5.5yds long which is enough for 2 scarves using the waste length as your fringe.  I include a ball of black tencel and a color so the 2 scarves will look entirely different—even if you use the same tie-ups!

I also include a few suggested 4 harness drafts to get you started, but use your  own ideas and get your creativity blooming.

You will also find some monofilament which I suggest to use as a floating selvedge along with a strand of weft yarn.  You will pull out the monofilament when you are done, so the weft yarn will fill in and give you a nice outline to your work.
